One of the challenges of staying in Boracay is where to find budget accommodations. While most Filipinos would prefer to be near White Beach, this strip is also one of the most expensive. But when you know where to look, you’ll get rooms that are cheaper than the rest. And budget accommodation Boracay Station 2 can be a good place to base.
White Beach is Stations 1-3. Although there are cheaper options at Station 3, these are far from D’Mall and the main action places. But in Station 2, tucked beside a building (still being constructed as of this writing) and just a stone’s throw from the popular inns (Eriko’s, Tan’s, etc.), is Lady Jean Resort.
It’s not a resort, per se, but more like an apartment. There are single rooms good for 1-2 persons (P1000, high season), rooms for 3 which consists of a double deck bed with the lower section good for two, P1,200 (high season) and family rooms good for 4-5 (P2000, high season). Note, there is no wifi but you can haggle with the caretaker (who will then call the owner) if you ask for a discount.
If you’re like me who would prefer a budget or affordable option when traveling, this place is a good find.

Lady Jean Resort is at the back of buildings at the beachfront. It’s just a few meters away from Boracay Uptown (check the above photo for the actual building where you enter the small alley). Once you enter, you will see a huge building being constructed (as of this writing) and a clearing at the right. From there, you can already see the facade (photo above).
Wow! Great Post. Really informative 🙂 Its really fun if you were with friends, aside from you have a share buddy in expenses at the same time you have a buddy to enjoy the beauty of Boracay. I also enjoy my vacation in Boracay. I really look for a relaxing and peaceful place and there I find The Orient Beach Boracay, its affordable, 5 mins ride to D’mall, its not hassle anyway because they have a free shuttle Service going to D’mall. It was also a Newly Opened Hotel, you can find great deals in many sites. Plus they serve really great Breakfast. it was also closer to the famous Puka Beach 🙂 You just need to be familiar with the affordable prices in Boracay, so you will spend lesser than they offer especially in Land and Sea Sports 🙂
