It was an awe-inspiring sight, well, except for the bathers who have crowded the base of Merloquet Falls in Zambaonga City but still, it is something that you can’t forget: Wide curtain, beautiful rock face and water dropping on an elevated but flat rock base that becomes a platform for bathers. Merloquet Falls is actually a two tiered waterfalls with the upper level located around 50 meters from the main cascade. It was a trip to Pagadian from Ozamiz many years ago that I got I glimpsed upon Pulacan Falls in Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. What attracted me to this cascade was that it was just beside a national highway and pretty much accessible. I will really come back for you!, I muttered. The food here is highly recommended and you can have it even if you won’t be availing of the river cruise tour. It was raining when we arrived here for lunch and it was just fitting that we started with a…Continue Reading “Delicious food at Inato Lang in Dapitan City”

But the weather was depressing that I didn’t see the promised white sand, the clear emerald waters of Dakak Beach Resort graduating into aquamarine. There were less people and visitors too. Only waves….Continue Reading “Feeling the wind, listening to the waves in Dakak and finding bliss”
