The I LOVE CEBU campaign
The I LOVE CEBU tourism campaign is spearheaded by the private sector consisting of DOT accredited resorts and hotels, tour operators and travel agents. This is intended to help revive tourism in the province which is a major industry and main economic driver. This also has an online platform where these vouchers will be sold. Eventually, a series of roadshows are planned in the Visayas and Mindanao later this year and once a ‘Cebu bubble’ has been established, foreign wholesalers will be hosted by October. This initiative is supported by the Department of Tourism, Tourism Promotions Board, the local governments of the Province of Cebu, the cities of Mandaue, Cebu and Lapulapu, the Hotels, Resorts, and Restaurants Association Cebu, Inc. (HRRACI), Cebu Alliance of Tour Operations Specialists Inc. (CATOS), Mactan Cebu Airport and Philippine Airlines.
