Top 10 reasons why 2011 is my travel year

The year 2011 is coming to a close and it’s time to look back and assess how my travels went during the year. Below are my top 10 reasons why I can proudly say that this year is MY YEAR OF TRAVEL!

Rizal @ 150 Heritage Trail Project, a must

For today’s Rizal Day celebration, its not yet too late to get the passports at different tourism offices in provinces and for those who still have places to visit, you still have half a year to complete it. Go and travel to some of the beautiful places in the country included in this heritage trail and get to know more about being Filipino.

      Pastel pasalubong from Cebu?

Sink your teeth into soft, delectable and fresh buns with creamy yema filling. I think this is better than the original from Camiguin.

        Cebu’s unforgettable Tops

Situated at 2,000 feet above sea level in the cool hills of Busay, Cebu City, Tops has been there as far as I can remember. It’s the perfect place to just view the city and surrounding islands of Olango and, even Bohol on a clear day.

A visit at Maitum’s Pawikan Nesting Sanctuary

The baby turtles were just at the holding pen, about three inches long, 15-20 individuals. Some were sleeping with their front flappers conveniently resting atop the carapace while some biting on a blanched but definitely dead fish floating on the surface.
