My art deco photos in Mabuhay magazine September 2017 issue

Categories I Travel

Published this month of September, 2017 are my photos of some of Manila’s art deco architecture in Mabuhay, the inflight magazine of Philippine Airlines. It was fun shooting the five buildings of which, I’ve only been to one. The five featured are:

  • Rizal Memorial Stadium
  • St Cecilia’s Hall in St. Scholastica Collage
  • Mayflower building in College of St. Benilde
  • Orchid Garden Suites, and
  • Chapel of the Most Blessed Sacrament in De La Salle University, Taft

These structures are included in the Malate Moderne walk by Ivan Man Dy of Old Manila Walks.

*The photo of the article came from a PDF file where the shot of the lobby of St. Cecilia’s Hall isn’t that sharp. Probably due to file compression.
