It was a getaway that you can’t forget, being at a remote island beach paradise where you just do nothing but eat, swim, stare into the sunset, cocoon into the villa, observe the changing of the tides or just watch the many moods of the sea. With a great location to lounge by the seaside under the canopy of trees and a cool breeze. And what’s more, there were so few people that most of the time I had the waters all to myself.

At different times of the day, I just enjoyed watching the sea, the changes of the sun’s position bringing out a different shade, a different mood. From the soft golden light a few minutes to sunset, to the bold, dramatic shadows during mid afternoon or mid morning. Couple this with the changing colors of the pristine waters of the beach too that changes from emerald to aquamarine to deep hues!

And the sea can be just calm and still, sometimes rough and the breaking waves frothy. But then, you can always hit the waters, and enjoy. Ah, simple pleasures that many of us, most of the time, miss when vacationing. And I had a great time!
