Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino in Mactan welcomes two new additions to their team in the F&B Group.

Chef Danilo Gonzalez, is the new Executive Chef with extensive experience both local and abroad. Chef Danny, as he is fondly called, hails from Batangas where his culinary influences stemmed from. He developed his culinary skills in his native province and then in Metro Manila. In 2001, he further honed his expertise in Saudi Arabia and Oman where he has worked with a 5 star hospital, Hilton Hotel Jeddah and Shangri-la Barr Resort.

In 2006, he came home and became a Sous Chef in Plantation Bay Resorts and Spa-Mactan and Executive Chef in City Sports Club (Cebu), Eskaya Beach Resort and Spa (Bohol), Misibis Bay Resort&Spa and Hotel Venezia (both in Albay), Fairways & Bluewater New Coast (Boracay), Hotel Kimberly (Tagaytay). He has been with Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino since 2013.

Chef Danny will still showcase his finely-honed cooking technique adding more of his own creative twist to further enhance the over-all dining and banquet experience.

Anna Corpuz, F&B Manager, has more than 15 years experience both local and international in various fine dining restaurants. She started her career in 1996 as Receptionist in Studebakers-Manila, Sofitel (Manila), Pan Pacific Hotel (Manila, F&B Supervisor) and Venezia Bar and Resto.

In 2002, she held various managerial positions: The Palms Country Club (Alabang, Outlets & Duty Manager), Azzurro Bistro (Makati, Operations Manager), World Spices International Cuisine Inc. at The Linden Suites (General Manager), Bistro Americano Corp. (North Carolina, USA, GM) and Widus Hotel & Casino (Clark, Pampanga, F&B Manager).

Anna will be responsible for the planning, organizing, controlling and managing the overall operations and resources for Food and Beverage in terms of ensuring profitability, productivity and delivery of quality products and services, and, to achieve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and competitiveness. She will also work alongside with the Executive Chef.
