It was just last week when I was enjoying the breeze and sea at Dakak Beach Resort, while lying on a hammock. Nothing. I did nothing but listen to the waves. Nothing but feeling the cool wind. And nothing but letting my mind wander off somewhere.
It’s been more than a week that I’ve been staying in Makati and being in the Metro, can really affect my mood. Is it because of the chaotic urban jungle? The absence of nature? Or is it just that I miss traveling so badly. Or all of these?
I was checking my photos taken over the past few months and when I got to the El Nido folder and I saw the image above. Wow! Serenity. The unhurried life. The green color and the hammock, inviting. I remember staying at this quite resort run by a foreigner couple. The place is at the eastern side of El Nido, far from the town center. And it was as great stay!
Soon… I’ll be on the road again.
