Delicious but cheap cupcakes in Iligan

P25?! Are you kidding me?

I blurted out in disbelief when a friend told me about this little cafe while in Iligan City. For one who has gobbled up outrageously priced, supposedly trendy cupcakes in Metro Manila, P25 was indeed a steal! But in Iligan, it is said to be already expensive.

From the inn I was staying, we walked along Roxas Ave. and after a couple of meters from a big mall, we stopped at a small but nice shop with a cheerful design. We entered into the small, space and took a seat at the only available table and ordered.

On a sushi plate were four cupcakes of different flavors inside colorful cupcake liners. My friend recommended the red velvet and chocolate. While I also got the blueberry and strawberry. The cupcake is soft and not dry. Most have fillings and there are lots of flavors available.

Tedts’ Diner is well recommended for a cheap, sweet fix. They have several other cupcake flavors like guava, smores, black forest and many more. They also serve Filipino comfort food in a well lit, clean space that I really like.

Tedts’ opened a second branch along Zamora Street last December 2014.
