Boracay grilled prawns with pasta: prawns, buttered veggies with olive oil and tomatoes topped with julliened orange rind skin as garnish. Pasta with malunggay pesto and light cream for sauce.

Cream of mushroom soup
I really enjoyed the food offered, from the cream of mushroom soup, the delicious garden salad to the main course of pasta with grilled shrimp and a dish of fillet mignon. The dessert was also interesting.
Nothing beats a hot cream of mushroom soup. It not only opens up one’s appetite, it sets the tone for the evening. For the main course, the pasta with pesto sauce has a twist. Instead of using basil, it uses a healthier alternative, malungay.
The island style fillet mignon was also wonderful. Tender, flavorful and with the bacon wrapped around, surely made a bold statement. Dessert? It was the first time for me to try fried ice cream (second at Polo Bistro). I never thought that this is possible but I did like the name twist: tempura.
Have you tried eating here at Cafe Alfredo?
