It was because of Photoquai 2013, the major biannual photography event exhibition where my personal photography work, THE NEW CATHEDRALS was selected, that I was able to visit Paris last month during the opening. There, 40 of us photographers from around the world (except Europe and the United States) welcomed visitors during the opening.
And it was such a great opportunity indeed! During my eleven days in Europe, I visited Paris and southern France, crossed into Spain, and enjoyed architecture, food, and stunning places. When was gazing at the Eiffel Tower the first time, I can’t help but smile in amazement!
The trip also afforded me to fly to Abu Dhabi, although I was only at the airport for a total of six hours, I still got to see a true desert and the barrenness of such a place. I feel thankful and hope future exhibitions invite me to showcase my work again.
Photoquai 2013 is still ongoing till 17 November 2013. There are also a selection of works, including mine exhibited within the Paris Metro. If you are in the vicinity, do visit our works.
