If your idea of cheap inclusive deals is sun, shopping and champagne then this list is for you. Upmarket boutiques, mega-malls, vibrant markets and iconic department stores – there’s something for every shopaholic. But remember to pack light because you’re going to need the extra space in your suitcase.

New York, USA

New York is a shopaholic’s mecca thanks to its enormous selection of shops, malls and department stores. New York is the home of Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Saks, F.A.O Schwarz, Manhattan Mall and designer discount store Century 21. The streets are lined with brand stores, boutiques, flea markets, thrift shops and vintage emporiums. You can literally buy anything in the city that never sleeps.

Dubai, UAE

Dubai is an extraordinarily wealthy city, so is perfect for a spot of shopping. The Dubai Mall is the biggest in the world and houses over 1200 stores, including all of the best luxury brands. If you get bored of shopping, there’s an Olympic sized ice rink, aquarium, cinema complex and numerous places to eat. For a more traditional experience, check out the Deira Gold Souk, a market dedicated entirely to the trade of gold and precious jewellery.

Copenhagen, Denmark

Denmark has always been at the forefront of design and is the place to shop if you are a lover of outstanding style. Magasin du Nord is a seven-storey department store in the heart of the city offering everything from fashion and homewares to technology and food. While the shopping precinct, Strøget is home to all of the leading Danish and international brands.

Paris, France

No ultimate shopping list is complete without a nod to the enduringly stylish capital of France. The streets are a catwalk in this wonderful city, so you better get kitted out. There are numerous lifestyle and fashion boutiques on every street, and don’t forget to stop in for delectable treats at the delicatessen.  For serious shopaholics, head to the city’s three mammoth Department Stores; Bon Marche (for the food), Printemps (for the beauty) and Galeries Lafayette (for the lingerie).
