And Governor Vilma Santos of Batangas is thinking of putting a huge Batangas signage on Binintiang Malaki in Taal? The remote northern town of Taytay in Palawan did it first. The huge sign has been constructed on the side of a mountain, cutting down the patch of forest just to place it.
I was indeed shocked and at the same time, smirking at the rather curious view which was quite unexpected in this part of the country. Oh well, its not only tacky, another gayagaya mentality put into action.
Haha. Cool lang. Batangas also planned but was not pushed through.
who really did it first, taytay or coron?
@mel, i’m not sure who did first
Who would expect that a remote mountainous town in an island province of Palawan is actually having a Hollywood fever pala. Is this a recent visit of yours to Taytay sir? This is town has a future.
@ed, just this year 🙂
OMG. One ugly sign from a certain Hannah’s resort in Maira Ira blue lagoon up north looks like this too! 🙁 Totally fuglyfied the place.
Frankly, I don’t like that resort. cemento lang ang alam nilang gamitin, not harmonizing the place with their resort
