‘Tis the season for French Cuisine, for Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino in Mactan as it puts on Haute Crepe for the month of September. Freshly created crepes, both savory and sweet with a good selection of classical and Provencal French dishes from the well loved onion soup to quiches, salads and many more including a good selection of cheeses.

But of course, the French is known for their cakes and pastries and sweets that I spent more time at the dessert section. The best part? Waterfront Mactan’s macarons is just so good. I love the way it breaks when you bite into it. The smooth meringue surface just cracks and gives way to a soft and sweet interior. The creme brulee is also creamy and smooth.

Well, there’s still time as you still have one more weekend to enjoy Haute Crepe this coming Friday and Saturday, both for lunch and dinner. Bon appetit!
